We had a really great time. Thanks to everyone that came out, and sorry if we didn't get to talk. Hope to see you again sometime soon.

shows
Well, the show with Mew was a lot of fun. We are greatful for everyone who came out. Nothing better than seeing a lot of pretty faces looking back at you.
We just updated our show section on our Myspace page, so be sure to check that out at http://www.myspace.com/AlltheDayHoliday (with a lowercase t of course).
We love you all, and will be releasing a Christmas song (cover) very soon.
Thanks,
All the Day Holiday (in the form of Mark)

fun fact #247
We prefer to spell our name with a lowercase t (All the Day Holiday). Things that have a capital t, such as the Mozes widget on our myspace page, were not made by us, or were created without much thought. For instance, when I created our twitter (@ATDH), I mistakenly made it @ATDH rather than @AtDH. None of this is a big deal at all, just thought it would be nice to have on the record, floating in the endless sea of internet data, our preference on spelling our name.
All the Day Holiday > All The Day Holiday

update
We are honored to have been selected by Mew to open for them in Chicago on December 7th. The show will be at The Metro, which I (Mark) am excited to play. I hear it is a really cool venue, and Mew's "And the Glass Handed Kites" is easily in my top 5 albums of all time. Great band plus awesome venue equals good time...Mew will be cool too (I hope you got that).

update
Just so everyone can be on the same page with us, here is what is going on in the world of AtDH.
We recently spent a day in the recording studio with our brother Chad Wahlbrink recording a Christmas song cover. It was a lot of fun, and is turning out to be quite a fun, and even slightly sexy cover. We aren't entirely sure where/how we will be releasing this song once it is done, but rest assured that you WILL get to hear it.
We are excited for 2010, and how it is seeming to be a year that will keep us very busy with touring and album releasing. We have had a good time celebrating 2009, and are sad to see it go, but look forward to what 2010 has in store for the Holiday boys.
We will be spending the remainder of 2009 doing a short run with Sainthood Reps (feat. Derek from Brand New) and working on writing new music. Some of the new stuff is slightly comparable to Black Moth Super Rainbow with Pinback thrown into the mix.
Other than small touring, writing, and working jobs while home, we have been focusing on growing as people, and where we are in life. We believe there is more to life than chance and coincidence, and encourage you to ask yourself what you believe, and WHY you believe it.
We love you all!

Our day off in Austin has been a great one. The pool here is absolutely incredible, and the flatscreen even better. We are all going to see District 9 tonight. Should be a good time.

Cincinnati show / Tour
Wow! Thanks to all the people that came out to see us for tour. You truly make it hard to leave Cincinnati. There is nothing better than hearing a room full of people sing along to your songs. Thank you again for being great friends.
We leave today for the first show of the tour with Moving Mountains, and are looking forward to getting to know them better, and hang out with them. They played yesterday, and they were really really good. It will be nice hearing them these next 3 weeks.
Be sure to check out our myspace by clicking HERE HERE HERE to see if we are coming to a city near you. Thanks again to Cincinnati, and thanks to you for staying updated with our blog.

p.s. We have an album in stores now! It's weird, but exciting.

We are home until August 7th, and it feels good! The ride home this morning was a little longer than it should have been, but that's okay. Do you remember the band Foxhole? Do they do shows anymore? I am listening to them right now, and boy oh boy are they good or what? It has definitely been a while since I have listened to them, and it was absolutely my loss. I need to pay some bills. Just remembered that.
Being on the road with the band All Get Out was a very enjoyable time. They are wonderful people, and quickly found a spot in my heart. With most bands it takes about a minimum of three or four days before you feel comfortable enough around them to tell them about your ex-girlfriend, but not with them. There was an immediate comfort around them, and we are going to miss them. Thanks guys for being amazing people, and incredible musicians (who show us up every show).
We will be playing in Cincinnati before we leave for our tour with Moving Mountains, and would love for everyone to come out and spend some time with us before we leave. We love you all, and hope to see you soon.

Detroit,MI
Right now we are on tour with our brothers in All Get Out. It has been a lot of fun so far.
Last night we played in Detroit, and are thankful for all of you who came.It was a fun time.
We currently have the day off (no show today), so we are spending some good time with our amazing friend Ryan Grahm. Looking forward to eating breakfast, so I will end my thoughts here (and never have another thought again). Adios.

Dear Mosquito that bit my cheek,
I don't like you. At all. Give me back my blood. It's weird that you took it in the first place.
Sincerely,
Mark

No big whoop!
I made a xanga for us thinking it would be a fun way to mesh "old school" with the current times, but lets face it..not a great blog site. I mean come on, you can't post videos. We will still use the site, but blogspot is just so much cooler. Yeah!
